Dr. Reza Shoaee Poshteh is a highly experienced General Practitioner who brings over 18 years of clinical knowledge to the Medical Select team. After obtaining his medical degree in 2005 in Iran, he spent over a decade honing his skills as a generalist, working across diverse healthcare settings.
Dr. Shoaee Poshteh relocated to Australia in 2017, initially practicing in Perth before moving to Melbourne in 2021. His career has taken him through both rural and metropolitan communities, providing him with a unique depth of experience in handling a wide variety of medical presentations.
As a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), Dr. Shoaee Poshteh is dedicated to providing high-quality, holistic care. He welcomes patients from all walks of life, cultural backgrounds, and age groups. His clinical scope is broad, covering everything from the management of complex chronic diseases to the immediate treatment of acute illnesses. Dr Handan Izzettin is a specialist in general medicine with a genuine passion for internal medicine. Her particular areas of interests include acute internal medicine as well as chronic conditions such as metabolic syndrome. She is trained to care for adults with complex and multiple health needs, offering a comprehensive approach to patients health and wellbeing.
Dr Handan İzzettin received her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree from the University of Tasmania in 2010. She undertook her specialist general medicine training at the Royal Hobart Hospital and subsequently at the Austin hospital and Warringal Private hospital becoming a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2021.
She currently works at the Northern Hospital as consultant.

Dr Mohammad Omer worked in the Middle East and fluently speaks Arabic, Turkish and English.
He completed post graduation certificate in public health from Griffith university Queensland in 2010 and has been working in Australia as a medical professional since 2012. He received certificate in Emergency Medicine in 2016 from Australian College of Emergency Medicine (ACEM) and has completed his Fellowship with Royal Australian College of GP in 2024 (FRACGP).
Dr. Omer has wide variety of clinical experiences with special interest in skin conditions and skin cancer surgery in general.
